We are seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to provide respite care for a bright and energetic young girl with autism and ADHD. This part-time role offers more than supervision—it is a meaningful opportunity to mentor, support, and empower her as she gains confidence, independence, and essential daily living skills.
As a Respite Care Provider, you will work with her in the home and during occasional community outings, helping guide structured routines and hands-on activities that promote learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

- Flexible, arranged in advance with the parent/guardian.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 supervision in a safe and encouraging environment.
- Teach and assist with daily living skills, including light hygiene reminders, meal preparation, and simple household tasks.
- Support her independence using positive reinforcement and step-by-step instruction.
- Encourage social-emotional development through structured play and consistent routines.
- Maintain open, ongoing communication with the family to share progress, insights, and recommendations.
Ideal Provider:
- Experience supporting children with disabilities or neurodiverse needs (autism and/or ADHD preferred).
- Patient, empathetic, and consistent, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to follow and adapt to an individualized care plan.
- Comfortable teaching life skills using clear, structured, and supportive methods.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain,
Requirements:
- Must pass a caregiver background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Experience working with children with special needs.
- Genuine passion for mentoring youth and making a meaningful impact.
